Villegium
 Marco Ferrario
Villegium projects credo is the continuity of location and architecture. It’s possible only in Sardinia: their appearance is completely determined by the landscape, climate, natural environment, the history of the place and natural materials. To implement this principle, you need to understand the spirit of the island very deeply and feel its particular areas. In Sardinia, even one kilometer is important - the atmosphere is changing radically. Northeast of the island, where our landmark projects are concentrated - a very special energy cocktail, which our ancestors appreciated back in the Neolithic. Creating a new habitat here is a huge honor and a great responsibility.

Most of my projects are connected with Sardinia. The rule " A birthplace determines a walk of life" helps a lot in business and is invaluable in construction. In order to realize a complex project, namely such ones are interesting to me, it is necessary to know thoroughly the administrative and technical side of the process. There is not much creativity in my business - it is important that the object is erected on time and become a valuable investment for the owner. But for me, this is real creativity.

I never thought of the categories of "site landscaping". Perhaps because I was born and raised in Sardinia and was always surrounded by its nature. My task is to reveal the natural beauty of the place, creating an occasion for a constant surprise: how beautiful and changeable this island is! In Villegium projects, I implement this approach 100% - including due to the uniqueness of the natural areas in which the company creates a harmonious living environment.

The Villegium team realizes what architects like to talk about, but rarely do. This is the concept of an "open house", open to nature and connected with it in the closest possible way. Classical chambers of villas and "green rooms" of the garden exist equally, flowing into each other. Yes, it's bold and not cheap - you need to have a spacious piece of land. At the same time, it is absolutely natural: a person quickly gets used to living in space, merged with nature. Our historical memory in Sardinia comes alive instantly, and the body responds to such care and passes into a regime of radical renewal.

Sardinia is my main source of inspiration. In projects, I often act as a visionary, combining the wishes of the customer, the technical capabilities of the site and the role that a house can play in a person's life. The ideal house in Sardinia - cozy and status at the same time, devoid of external pathos and full of deep inner meaning. It is not limited to the constructive - its walls are also green thickets, and the centuries-old cliffs smoothed by the Mistral. Everything is so organically inscribed in the environment that it seems that this estate has always existed here. The suite of the 21st century is a living environment completely synonymous with the concrete person and consonant with the ever-changing nature.

The Villegium team is implementing full-cycle development projects in Sardinia. Over the years, we have developed three simple business principles and rigorously follow them. We take only the unique locations. We create projects exclusively in the luxury segment.  We work with local architects and designers throughout the project. This is how we implement turnkey projects that don't have analogs now and are not guaranteed in the future - including exclusive rights to special land properties. We are building a lifestyle of luxury, which works for the main goal - active longevity of the real estate owner.
